i would love to try but really big paper
terrifies me. so do you use brushes,

go about going large.

Yup, that's a painting, took me 400hrs, (9 months) to complete. It's a lot of fun if you've never created anything that big; you end up feeling like your in the art, cool feeling! Either buy a large canvas at an art store or buy the materials and build it, takes an hour of nailing, but it's a lot cheaper!

i haven't painted in a long while so
it would be scary. maybe i'll start
with a larger sheet of paper for
practice with ink to get my nerve up.
this is a really impressive piece of work
and i love how you say you become one
with the art.

Thank you!! In what I seen of your work I really like the similarity we share, its fun to see my mind in front of me rather than me behind as the motivational stroke having to reflect on the already known. Have you tried to draw that similar style without patterns laid down first? i think your work would be more expressive if you let your self be free. For instance, if a wall doesn't have a nail sticking out then it's boring, or if an amazing work of art is repeated too many times it will end up looking like wallpaper and will blend in to the background so to speak. Anyways, very nice art!
